STRENGTH

At Stage Fit, we do an assessment to find muscle weaknesses and imbalances. Then we assemble a program for that specific student to address them. We teach anatomy so dancers understand what muscles are needed to perform the technique and tricks asked of them. The student will have stronger, more efficient muscles and know how to apply those muscles to their dance.

POWER

How is power different from strength? Strength fuels power. When it comes to performing, power is using your strength in ways that enhance your performance. We use science-backed jump progressions to help you achieve higher, safer and softer jumps.

CARDIO & BREATH CONTROL

Cardio and breath control are the lifeblood of performing. Without them, you are truly nothing. We use heart rate monitoring and various protocols to train multiple heart rate zones and achieve faster recovery. Students learn how to combine breathing and movement to complement each other for improved recovery, delayed onset of fatigue and greater body awareness.

FLEXIBILITY

Flexibility is a crucial part of performing. At Stage Fit, we use the mUvmethod. We're certified in this stretching curriculum focused on safe and effective stretching techniques. We use this technique to help students overcome their mental and physical blocks, improving their range of motion.
