MUSICAL THEATRE CLASSES
These classes use the process of putting on a musical to teach students learn the skills it takes to perform live on stage. We help our students prepare a successful audition, teach them how to develop a character, correctly dictate and remember blocking, pick up choreography, all while learning about the musical, story and their characters.
THEATRE WORKSHOP MINIS
AGES 5-8
WEDNESDAY 6:30-7:30pm
Instructor: Ms. Holly
Introducing a brand new class for the 2024-2025 season! In this one hour class, our students will sing, dance and act while preparing for their Holiday Show performance in December and their own performance of a musical in May with full costumes, sets and props!
THEATRE WORKSHOP PREP
3RD - 6TH GRADE
FRIDAY 4:30-6:30pm
Instructor: Ms. Emma
Theatre Workshop Prep is intended for those students who are newer to the performing arts and are developing their skills. The main focus will be acting, dance movement, and vocal coaching. They will participate in the Christmas show, as well as perform a musical in May.
THEATRE WORKSHOP ADVANCED
6TH - 12TH GRADE
FRIDAY 4:30-6:30pm
Instructor: Ms. Holly
Theatre Workshop Advanced is meant for our performers who have advanced beyond prep class, but still have much to learn! They will work towards a show at Christmas, as well as a full length musical in May.
THEATRE WORKSHOP
AUDITION ONLY
AGES 10-17
FRIDAY 4:30-6:30pm
Instructor: Ms. Jocelyn
The invitation only Theatre Workshop is meant for our more advanced performers - those who study the performing arts intensively. In order to participate in this class, you will need to audition and take mandatory classes. They will work towards a Christmas show, as well as a full length musical in May.
